Hi,
I have a 1973 2.25 petrol LWB.Been told that it needs a new clutch soon.Sometimes tricky to select gears.Hi/lo very sticky.I have bought a clutch kit but would be interested if anyone has an idea of how much roughly fitting would be.I live in North Cornwall.
Cheers,
Gunwennap.

I ended up doing mine myself. But when I asked the local garage the old boy told me that it would be about 5 hours labour. IF I removed all the corroded floor screws myself !

if you have the confidence do it your self,as stated by other/s the floor bolts would be a problem, but nothing what a 4inch angle grinder wont cure.a good trolley jack and a tin that you can use as a swear box the money you save and what you put in the swear box will soon mount up for a tidy **** up after,

before you start pulling it apart check the fluids including GB oil - and bleed the clutch - even changing the clutch fluid would help if it's been in for a good few years

and a splash of release fluid/WD40 on the gear change linkages is likely to sort the "sticky" gears issue
