Series 3 88inch

Looking for advice I have recently rebuilt rear axles, on my 88inch 1980 series 3 and unable to get drums on. I checked shoes and all slacked off on adjuster. Removed shoes and appears the drums won’t fully go on and if tap on seizes on. Is this bearings or out of alignment?

Off hand, I suspect the shoes are not lined up, the springs are incorrectly installed, or not deadjusted. I can't remember if that will have snail cams or an auto adjuster. Your drums may have a wear lip on the inside of the drum.
