i collected my series 3 1977 88 yesterday and what a drive !
but i hope someone out there can give me a couple of answers to a few questinons .
do all the speedo needles on a series 3 bounce about ? come to think of it so does the temp guage and the fuel
the ride from saxmundham to leighton buzzard was brill apart from the exhaust falling in two ,lucky that i was at a garage in my home town.
just wish i saw the post on here about paddocks for the exhaust as i was ripped off £94 for connecting pipe and back box ! i was quoted £120
other than that its a great drive , shame they took the original series 3 wheels off and put some other "fatter" ones on
