Series 3 109 lwb

Hi all

I am now the owener of a seris 3 lwb 109 diesel 3 door station wagon.

I intend to do a stripdown and full rebuild. Has anyone ever changed a body from a 3 door to a 5 door?, if so what problems should I expect to come across?

Aha that would be a gud start

. I've been told if I get the right body parts its just a case of bolting on.

is this right?

also bin told yu mite be short of about 12" of chassis.

You like a challenge then.
It would be easer to get a 5 door one and move the good parts on to it.
