Series 2A restoration

Hi all,I´m a new member from Sweden and I have recently started a renovation of a 1968 88 Inch Series 2A. The car has been standing in my fathers barn for 40 years and now it´s time for wake up!
I probably will ask a lot of questions where to find spare parts and so but the first question will be regarding the color:
The car is Grey and it is stated in the registration paper "grey" but it seems like the car has been Green from the beginning and painted gray, is this a common method or is mine a military version repainted before shipped to Sweden?
