series 2A rebuild ,ideas ,wisdom ect

I don't understood the heated screen thing, I was tempted but a bit costly...I got some microfibre cloths and a bottle of de-icer...

I had a look on the site, and i couldn't find them. If you want I can ask on the S2club forum.

just a tip, don't buy any bits on impulse sods law is you will find them cheaper the next week. I know because i still do it. Always ask around first someone somewhere will have the bit.

the Series2 club/forum do not sell heated screens, we have the odd volunteer put together a "group purchase" where X amount of members register thier interest prior to a purchase

you may find occaisionally a member who has already bought a screen or two but not fitted then offers it up for resale

Thought I saw a post the other day where a member had two and wanted too sell the other.

you did see one advertised in the for sale section, i don't know if it's sold yet though

cheers wickford,,,im after a fair few parts ie ,,all dash panels ,vents,steering wheel ,tail gate ,truck cab ,seats ,probaly a pet engine as i dont no this one and would rather buy a runner and then rebuild it ,s 3 gear box ,wiper motor ,heater complete ,fan ,dash centre clocks ,ect ,ect

Thats one hell of a shopping list, there is a couple of places local to me who break S2 and lightweights they have most things and sells on ebay, but a lot cheaper to go direct. Im down there next week some time if you want any bits now, let me know and will see what he has and get a price for you. Don't mind posting them to you. I have a near perfect set of seats in mine, that i will be changing at some point,also a battered truck cab, some half decent outer wings,two excellent door tops and straight doors with the usual rot on the frame.

i might be able to help out with the parts too if you need.
