Hi All,

I have a 1968 2a landy with a Ford 3ltr v6 engine, that has never had the exaust fitted
I need to find an exhaust to fit, i've been told that i can have one manufactured but will have to change both manifolds at about £160 each this will make the total job about £600, any ideas please

there are places that will make a complete sytem using teh manifolds yer got on. but unless yer tell us where yer are and someone knows of one in your area yer best bet would be yellow pages. or google

Hi,
I've been told that If you use the original manifolds you have cut the bulk head, i've tried steve parker, they do the exhaust but you need modified manifolds, that makes it expensive, I'm in Herefordshire

why don't you just buy exhaust pieces, including manifold pieces and weld them together? They are available in stainless, do you know anyone who welds stainless? costs about 200 for a system. A lot of the hot rod boys make them up from pieces....looks smart when its done. I forget where you need to go, but merlin motorsport, demon tweeks they are going to be a good place to start, you could just make the manifold and go steve parker for the rest.

well i also have a 2a and i also have a essex 3.0 v6 ford and i am also in herefordshire ish! and i also made a exhaust to fit although i dont know how manifolds etc were done as were on when i bought it!

any questions happy to help although dont know loads!!

...i've got one too!!! mines currently installed on my garage floor while i practice me jedi mind powers so's i can levitate it into a landy.... its got one ford manifold on the drivers side, was told it came out of a granada originally, which fits without modifications to the bulkhead and the other is a steve parker manifold. got steve parker pipes from the manifolds (one looks very similar to the original petrol landy one) and then they are joined together with some flexi crap and a load of bodged pipes going into two cherry bombs. sounded ace when it was all stuck together! :D

might be worth a look at your local scrappy's see if you can find a granada manifold, least that would be one side done!!

probably be hard to find anything like the the passenger side Steve parker v6 manifold as it looks a bit odd.... unless you find one in an all ready converted landy!!

you might be able to get one from steve parker on the cheep if it were just that one bit. i contacted him a while back with some daft questions and he were very helpful even though i hadn't bought the kit of him (was moving the injin from one landy to another)

donkeys years ago i put a v6 into a capri.it had come out of a zodiac and the manifolds stuck out a mile,i fitted capri ones which tucked in nice and tight, just a thought.
