series 2 /3 advise on an engine upgrade

morning all, just after some advice really, of my many SWB i have a chassis( tax free) that's currently stripped bare for welding, now by chance i have a rebuilt v8 sat around , how much hassle would it be to fit it into a series 2/3 chassis and what would i need?
has any one produced a step by step guide to doing this or is it not worth the hassle ?
