Selling my defender 90 300 tdi, what is it worth?!!

hi there, new to the forum and was wondering if someone can help me out please!

i am (very reluctantly!) selling my blue Landrover Defender 90 - 300 tdi 1994 (L reg) have been forced to buy a car (freelander) that the wife and kids can use too!!

I know what i want for it (£) but wanted to know if someone could give me some ideas on what i 'should' ask for it

here is the info:

Landrover defender 300 tdi 1994 L reg
138000 miles
12 month mot
taxed till end of February 2013
Full service History

Interior:
Good condition with doors and hinges in very good condition with no rust

Engine:
Excellent condition which starts first time!

Accesories include:
Fitted with A-bar
Lightguards
Front and rear dif guards
snorkel
steering guard
3 inch lift
rock sliders
chequer plating on bonnet and rear
spot lights and work lights (installed not connected)
CD Player with MP3 connectivity

Work carried out include:
New galvanised bumper
New rear cross member
New mid cross member
Front outriggers repaired

Chassis:
Solid, wax oiled and undersealed
Bulkhead - solid, no rust
cam belt: 107K replaced

Has not been used off road

It really is a great Defender which has been looked after by myself (i would not sell it if i didn't have to!)

Looks like a lovely truck! But one question - if its never doen any offroad work why does it have the following:

Front and rear dif guards
snorkel
steering guard
3 inch lift
rock sliders

and thr big fat tree scrape on the bumper?

and its not a scrape to the bumber its where the paint has come off

hi my name is John, i live in Lancashire and i have owned two Landrovers over the past 8 years (a 110 and now a 90) i am now reluctantly selling my defender 90 and so needed some advise from you guys as to pricing!

There is a Land Rover dealer in Devon selling an L plate 90 for £8000 which is over the top but hes confident he'll shift it.

I would say between 5/6k would be a fair price for yours but you may get more, you may get less but I wouldn't take less than 5k.

Its only got 72000 miles on the clock and a full service history, he thinks because its a 200tdi it will sell, my mate offered him £5000, he just laughed so I think hes confident it will go.

My advice to you is don't buy a Freelander, how about a nice Disco 2 V8 with a high lift cam and 2 leaking sunroofs, one going for £4000 if you want it

Well it was worth a try Good luck with the Freelander!

had a look on auto trader and the prices vary so much for a 90,

there are some priced around £3000 and some at £7000!
so confused!

Would say £5k ish not much selling at mo
