Not been on here for a while due to outside influences

I have decided to sell my 1980 Series 3 109", but apparently I am not allowed to lit it?

Not enough priveledges or something.

So I have posted it here, and ask that it can be moved to the right section as long as it's within the rules?

Today I put up for sale my Former British Army Series 3 109".

Since I bought her, I have carried out quite a bit of work, with quite a few new parts.(including a new tilt )

Brief History:

Known: 1980 contract Series 3 109" 24volt FFR. Military Reg. 67HG34

Previous Owner description:

Discharged from the Army in 2005, believed to have completed last 5 years service in the Balkans.
Was White when released.
Lived on a farm for a few years before being passed on to a local specilaist.
Last owner painted it with "Chalk Board" Paint. and ran it with a bikini top and fume curtain.

I bought her without the Bikini etc, as I planned to refit a full tilt again.

I bought it on the basis of a general restoration project over the summer months, but due to house/work and ilness, she was'nt ready to "pass her on" until now.

The first thing I did was to check for the usual rot and mechanical failures we all love to hate, but found it was very solid, but over fueling.
The only sign of welding I have found is a plate aproximately 6" x 12" behind the throttle pedal.

Body work was taken down to the earliest paint and given two coats of "red oxide" in the traditional manner (roller and brush)

This was then finished off with two coats of Deep Bronze Green.
The only area inside that I have not repianted is the area behind the seats, which is still Nato green. I left it that way as a reminder of it's former history.

The finish is not perfect, but is a thousand times better than when bought.

Various mechanical bits were sorted such as the fueling, temp sender, speedo cable ,indicator stalk etc

Info on the "works" can be found here:
