i just think its no well proportioned. a bit like the rolls drop head. Just a bit to big to be a soft top

Dislike ... but ...
I can see why they're doing it. Bling sells, and this looks full of it. Ideal for Arabs and footballers to buy and show off in .. it's not a tratter and doesn't try to be, it only pays a nodding acquaintance to off-road ability (though I suspect it wouldn't be bad given a bit more clearance!) and is catering to current market tastes.
I hope this, and other 'girly style' vehicles from LR, mean they make money and can still deliver old school vehicles on the Defender/off-road front ..

Just about sums up my feelings. Not that Land Rover would give a toss what I thought as I'll never be able to afford one. I'm more interested in seeing the new Defender, the real one not some idealised impression, because I think that might give us some insight into Tata's thinking for the brand. I've got this little niggle in the back of my head that they could use the Land Rover brands for the upmarket stuff and launch a Defender replacement as a Tata.

Still think they should go back to ther route and build work horses! mitubishi and nissan are clearing up in the pickup market maybe have a stab at that
