Seatbelt problem

Hi All. i took my seatbelts when removing the cab back in the summer. i have come to put them back and they have wound right up. i cant get them to release. is there a trick to this? like a release catch? i cant see anything obvious. i tried holding them vertical but had no joy

I dont fancy dumping £100 on a new set

you have to pull them out at exactly the right angle. best way is to fit the spool then gently pull the belt up in the same angle. it may take a while but eventually you will release it

As above.
Moving, shaking, jerking, tilting etc will just cause them to lock up (as they should). Gently pull on the belt while moving them around a level plain and you should find they will come undone easily.

As above. Hold them level as there is a jiggle pin mechanism thingy inside. Just go gently and they should unwind. Mine were the same last week when it started getting put back together.
