No real problem taking it out but then again I rebuilt mine using SS fixings 14-years ago so when I removed the seatbox last year it all came apart beautifully.
Take seats out first, you will only be making life harder for yourself trying to get behind them.
Depending on how thorough you are when you clean the underside of your vehicle, you might be surprised at the amount of crud (and corrosion) you find when it is all on show. Be prepared to do a bit more work than you initially intended doing. That said, perfect opportunity to get it all clean and make sure nothing needs attention in the future. Amongst other jobs, while it was off I removed the battery-box, seat-belt & fuel-tank brackets etc and had them all galvanised.
