seat box for SIIa WANTED

Does anybody have a seatbox/base for sale for my seriesIIa that is reasonably local to Windsor berkshire.I've looked on Ebay and when they do come up they are either to expensive or miles away.

I chopped big holes in my seat box to fit black electric leather seats(from a Granada Scorpio) all went well until I tried to get in, being 6' 4" tall looking forward all I could see was the top of the window frame.

Apart from this problem it was so comfortable it ashame I am to tall.

I will swap the seats and my modded seat box for a Normal seat box a little bit more work would be required to finish. Both are seats are heated as well, all switches included.

Only 3 wires per seat to get them to work ( 1 earth and 1 12v wire per motor) + two wires for the seat heaters very easy to get working!!!!

sounds like a worth while mod putting new seats in, was it much hassle? my dad put some car seats (not sure from what) into his 2a but they sit too high and even a short arse like me is looking at the top window frame!!

wasn't to much hastle, the front of the seats just needed two holes drilled in the front of the box and also a big notch at the front to make the seat sit as low as it can.

The Granada passenger seat is fitted on the driver side in the landrover as the electric motor sit on top of the fuel tank raising the seat up a futher 4" also the seat switches are on your left when sitting in the landrover so they won't get covered in water/mud when of roading and eing leather they are just as wipe clean as vinal
