Seat Belts

Something Ive just thought about, I have no Front Seat Belts . I do have the bits that bolt on to bottom where belts clip in to, but don't have the belts themselves.
Stupid Question but would belts from Disco 1 fit ?

Depends who the manufacturer is, there are a couple of OEM seatbelts and they don’t necessarily work together. Better off buying matching pairs when it comes to that level of safety.

Whats it for? If it has the brackets down between seatbox and door throw them away and buy the belts with the belt fixing point on the inertia reel bracket.

For Defender 110 , will send pics of the bits I have later.

I think with yours being the 110 Van, it shares the same seatbelts as the 90. I’m quite sure they are the same. From memory, it needs the type where the inertia reel has the other end of the belt attached to it, not like my 110 that the inertia reel and the end are bolted separately.

Just checked the parts book. I’m not sure which one it’s supposed to have now?

this is the type I have in my 110CSW, but I don’t think you have the mounting points for this as the rear bulkhead is in the way.

I think this is the type you need, but check your VIN and see if it matches up.

Thanks Bloody forgot to take pics , all I have is the bits that bolt to floor where belt clips in to, will get a better look tomorrow. This one should be straight forward once I know which bits I need.
Isn't it funny, you solve one big problem then think your flying now, Then more crop up straight after Found another couple of problems along the way which I didnt notice before.
Will post them up in a bit, well One at a Time anyway

Has anyone got Photos of how seat belts are Mounted in 110 Van ?
Think I've found mounting points for the bottom, in Micks diagram, but not sure which Bracket I need for above.

Should be a diagonal bracket Bolts to the roof & side
Truck cabs have different top mounts

It uses 2 roof bolts.
Unsure if you drill holes to suit

I try and find pic coz knowing me Ill pit them in the wrong holes.
Think I know which Seat Belts to get now for these, Im sure these are mounting points for the bottoms on mine.

According to the last of them drawings I posted, it’s for “full length hood” vehicles. Isn’t that a 110 van? If so, it bolts to the B pillar, the same as mine. Am I missing something?

Just seen this. It seems to say it’s the correct one for the job, but I have never dealt with these seatbelts, so I don’t know.
