screen rubber protection

I cannot store my RRC undercover & with the coming of summer I'm concerned at the effect of the sun's UV on the screen & window rubbers. Can anyone recommend a product that will provide them with protection?
Local verbal advice so far has been to either coat them with Vaseline or spray with silicone.

I also do my tyres with it, keeps them good without the bling of tyre shine

I prefer using my .308 on the windscreen as a more modern tool to the 303....
Bang! and the screen is gone!
