here's one i can't quite figure out and hope that calmer minds can help?

My eas works pretty damn well. However i notice that my compressor comes on quite a lot (every minute or so) when the car is in motion. If I'm at a standstill with the engine running and doors closed the car stays rock steady and the compressor stays off. I do think there must be a teeeny leak somewhere around the F/R air spring as the car drops about an inch if left standing for a day with relay out, but I don't think this explains the compressor's behaviour? Why almost always on when moving but quiet when stopped?

I know you`re not a newbie Rasheed, but hope you`ll forgive one obvious question, it is the air-pump, not the ABS pump? Assuming so then as you say the system must be losing air somewhere. Could it be a worn air bag, such that when stationary the damaged/leaking section is folded under and partly sealed, but when drien will flex and leak? Try putting it on high setting and examining bags?

Thank you for acknowledging my silver hair, gtland, just leaning over the 'ol zimmer to type this. ;) No my ABS pump makes a distinct noise all its own, a little buzz and the compressor is more of a baritone hum. But I think what with front right dropping and what you said I am looking at leak somewhere. Thanks for helping me make my mind up!

Yeah, was sure you`d know the difference `tween the sounds but a silly suggestion sometimes makes you think along a slightly different line. What`s weather like with you? Are you gonna have to add anti-freeze to your soapy spray?

Surprised you can hear the EAS compressor when you are on the move, I can't on mine. However I would expect the compressor to run from time to time when on the move as the EAS doesn't just level the car and lock, it seems to try to compensate for movement to a degree which means it uses air.
