SORC Promotional Event - 7th May - Lamancha - Non-members welcome
The next event for the club is on Saturday 7th May and will be a promotional day, aimed at encouraging new members, and current members, to come along and see what we do. The aim of the day will be try your hand at tyro trial sections, RTV trial sections and have a general drive around the site which for those of you who have never driven off road will give you chance to see how your 4x4 handles! There will be experienced marshals around throughout the day offering advice, encouragement, and taking those all embarrassing photos if your unlucky enough to get stuck anywhere! And the cost of this family friendly day out....a bargain at £10.00 per vehicle!!
So why not bring along the wife (or husband!), the kids, some friends and even the family dog and see how much fun off roading can be........ohh and remember to bring along your picnic lunch!!!
The venue for this event is Lamancha, located South of Penicuik. You can approach the site from either the A701 (More convenient if coming from Edinburgh direction) or the A703 (if coming from the Peebles direction). Orange arrows will guide you to the signing on location from each entrance.
