Sat Nav Disc wont come out

Can anyone advise how to remove the disc from the drive of a 2002 Vogue L322 sat nav system I have tried all sorts of different methods but the drive door won't open I think this is why the system has stopped working.

You may well have water in the unit, the one on my vogue died a death because of this, I tried and tried to get the disc out of mine and it was also causing the battery to discharge.

I think the disc stayed in there and I bought a replacement drive for about £250 with the latest software included.

Thank you, currently when you start the car the radio screen comes on with a blue back ground everything functions except there is no sat nav, while the engine is on if I pull the nav system fuse and reset the screen comes up with its normal colour again with everything working including the sat nav. It contines to work perfectly normally until I turn off the ignition then it defaults to the above blue screen condition, I also noticed that when I start the engine the red power light on the sat nav disc drive doesn,t come on until I reset the fuse.
