Saggy Roof Liner

Hi Guys and Gals

Hope you are all keeping safe etc.

1994 300 tdi 90 with sun roof and alpine windows.

My roof liner is basically end of life even the structure has sagged the only thing holding the middle up is the dog guard.

Im tempted to put it out and maybe not replace my question is what is behind the roof liner ? IE do the front and rear interior lights, rear view mirror and sun visors have mountings on the roof of just the liner ?

any pic of the same age / details welcome.
