In the middle of the second alternator install, the problem is that my order of electronics parts has not arrived and I am in a spot with it, I've done all the grubby work to get the double belt pulley on the crank but I'm cautious of fitting it all fully and simply leaving it disconnected until my parts turn up.

Is it safe to fit it and leave it running without any wiring? Is there any harm to come from doing so?

Need a grown up on this one.
