I have an 882 with bench seats in the back and no seat belts. I want to make travelling in the seats a bit safer. What seat belts are best? Can I install 3 point harnesses, or even the ralley type 4/5 point harnesses and where/how should they be mounted?

Thanks for any advice.

From my understanding, the best thing to do is fit forward facing. With sideways ones, arguably you should NOT fit seat belts, because if you have a head on collision, the passangers necks will snap, and it seems to be argued either way if lap belts do much, also I imagine that 3 point type would be worse for neck snapping

Thanks for the responses.

Still none the wiser with seat belts for inward facing seats!

If I fit forward facing seats, I'll take the seating capacity down to 5. I'd like to retain the 7 seats if possible. At a minimum, I need 6 seats. Has anyone fitted a rear facing bench seat (3 seats)? What are your thoughts on this?

Ive heard of it been done, but not seen it, from memory they used a bench seat across the boxes, but not sure how youd get to the seat to use it !
