Evening,
Can anyone help to establish whether drilling a new hole in my front offside chassis is safe enough to mount a Jate ring?
Sorry, can't upload any photos to show you exactly.
It's the chassis ends which the front bumper is mounted onto. (mine USA standard non-military bumper, no lights, bull bars or winch mounts etc).
The original bolt which supports my steering guard (mine's a pole/bar type, not the swish sheet steel jobs) and the Jateis just too tight/narrow to fit over that space.
Hence drilling a new hole in front of it. Does this compromise any safety or driving issues ???
