S3 Clutch probs

I've got issues with clutch pressure on me 73 series 3. The pedal has no pressure whatsoever until I start pumping it then I manage to engage a gear. I figure its a leak and have noticed that the o/s inner wheel arch is showing signs of fluid thats been leaking. Is it likely to be the master cylinder(on the o/s bulkhead) that needs replacing and if so, is it an easy fix or a pain in the arse.

Sounds like the master cylinder. Easy enough to replace, can be a bit of a bugger to bleed the air out. Try to avoid Britpart ones as the caps don't fit very well.

Check it first , if the bore is good , just need a set of seals but get genuine ones
