****s sake this bonnet

This bonnet is doing my head right in .
Someone must know of a way to release it or can piont me too someone who could,

what is the vehicle ie model and age then we mights be ablke to help

i thought about the hammer but i already snapped the shaft hitting the back door!

could it be possible to give a bit more info, like why you can't open the thing, exact fo ooken reason in all of its details please.

bonnet's stuck, unable to release it, cable's come off lever inside the cab - even with pulling inner cable with pliers and someone bouncing on the bonnet at the same time ...nowt is moving

Just firm up an down movement of bonnet directly above where latch is should be all that is required while you pull the cable end with a decent set of pliers, preferable locking type like vice-grips, if that dont unlatch it nothing gonna. Not sure how grill is fastened in disco, but in rangie classic you can, with a bit of fiddling get the grill of with the bonnet closed by using a medium screwdriver into the cleats and work them till the plastic barbs of the grill release, maybe disco the same, not sure.

helo Alfresco ,that seems the only way so far.
My mate and i have tryed everthing but that .
I will get it some how , it needs shocks and discs and bushes for the MOT,and ABS leads and that just the front .
The joys of life ! Ive give up and going on the drink

look through the grill use a torch,you should be able to see the arm that the bonnet release cable fastens to ,big screwdriver on that,push it to one side and bingo,that didnt hurt did it ......best of luck....dave
