Running Poorly

Hi everyone, can anyone shed some light on my problem please.

I have just changed the head gasket put evrything back but on start up it is running bad. High revs is fine but it wont tick over on its own yet and there is a popping sound when you try and get it on a low rev. If you let go of the pedal it just dies .

I can't see anything loose yet and I am now stumped where else to look which is causing this problem.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

youve got the plugleads on wrong!!

Thanks Gav, I'll have a recheck of them hope it is something as silly as that

it prolly will be, sounds like it anyway!!

check you got all the little plugs on the top of engine and throttle body on the right way round(dont think many can be got wrong) check the vacuum thingy aswell on the pass side of engine!

Thanks Gav for your help the plugs were wrong I took the coil pack off to double check the numbers and re done all the HT leads. Its now alot better. Somewhere it could do with fine tuning a bit I think so I will double check the spark plug gaps.

Flamin typical now though for some reason my window switch pack doesn't work. Nothing works on it now so looks like I will have to get another one now
