Another thread called ' stuck ' was my first at trying to work this out and since then i've ' worked ' on a few ideas thrown my way to pick up the issue.
Today though, i noticed something which co incides with the problem but i can't figure out how it could be related.
The problem is lack of revs, lumpy idling and no power at the top end and no high revs at all ( it is almost like it's limited in someway ). The usual fuel and air fault findings have been done, i found a minute fuel leak on the main pipe from the filter to IP and have fixed it for now ( new pipe coming in the post ).
However whenever the problem arises ( there is no set time, i could be driving around town or on a dual carriage way, it happens when it wants to ) i get a loss of oil pressure and an increase in water temperature.
The above just seems weird to me. I've got plenty to go on ( turbo to manifold needs addressing, minute gap near a sheared bolt ) and lift pump to replace, but it's the above dial read outs which confuse me more. It may be a coincidence, but then again someone may have had a similar problem and solved it.
p.s. This thread was typed on my netbook whilst sat on the loo....ain't technology great
