rumble on slow acceleration and deceleration

Hi all,

The wife's freelander facelift 04 plate td4.

On slow acceleration and deceleration the rear makes a rumble/judders.
I'm hoping it's bearings/seals need replacing?
Or transfer box needs new oil?

Am I on the right lines?

Oh an extra it's not all the time! Which confuses me more.

Worse on cornering eg going round a roundabout? Just a rumbling noise or is it a vibration through the car?

Check out the vcu support bearings

I had that once turned out to be VCU the whole car was shaking.

have many of u guys had the vibration fault around 50 mph , as it turned out to be the front y shaped bearing on the front propshaft on mine

so if u get a vibration going round corners does that normally mean drive shafts , plse ?
