RRS TDV6 New Turbos

Hi,

Even though I live in NZ I hope I can get some advice, I moved over a few years ago and shipped my RRS.

Last 6 months restricted performance warning light has been coming on, local garage tried lots of things but more recently its got worse. I am now being told RH Turbo needs replacing, all data and tests have been verified by UK specilists so I am taking it face value. Confirmed its not intercooler pipe or oil drain pipe

As its a body/engine off job its highly advised to replace both Turbos. However I am being quoted £4500 for both Turbos plus 40 hours labour. Does that sound right?

Any advice much appreciated

Yes, I'm told that the RRS needs to have the body off and it does make a lot of sense to replace both turbo's as a precaution, the biggest part of that will be the labour and if you have to pay it twice the second time will really hurt and you'll wish you'd done them both at the same time if the second fails in short order.

I agree makes sense to replace both Turbos. But how much do they cost? Where could I source them from?
