I have a 2012 RRS L320 3.0 SDV6 HSE, It feels crashy compared to my aged 2004 L322 TD6
But worst of all the suspension is playing up.
When I press access mode the car begins to lower then returns to normal height. i get fault code saying pressure not releasing from gallery C1A13-64 & C1A08-1C

Please help me sort this... ive located the compressor unit under the car but can not see any sort of bleed nipple/valve filter etc.

Hi

Maybe the internal compressor filter or silica beads have become blocked up

It may also be an electrical issue , assume when the engine is turned off u don’t hear a hiss as the compressor exhaust valve should open releasing the excess amount of air

Do u happen to have diagnostics of ur own plse as if so u can see if the exhaust valve opens by watching the live data

Can easily share the pressure chart if that’s useful to u but is best to first remove the plastic compressor cover and to identify what make u have

Also a multimeter is very handy to have as u can then test the exhaust valve solenoid itself , but if its not been serviced in a while a simple service and replacement of the internal filters and silica beads might be what just required

There are various makes , ie amk, hitachi, Dunlop , some have more parts being sold than others

If it is ur own what make or code reader do u have plse as maybe some of us may have the same type and can relate to that , so plse get the.make or failing that plse take some pictures as we can then try and identify it for u

We can then See what pressure the compressor is producing and then onto checking the live data and onto seeing if the exhaust valve opens or not

we can then guide u through it step by step and save u wasting money on parts that make not be required

Hope that gives u a small insight of what’s required

meant to add ur see some bolts that secure the plastic bottom cover , it also clips together so undo the bolts etc and the bottom cover should then Come down

Its easier if u can to raise it to off road height and then use some axle stands and plse don’t be ever tempted to ever get underneath without axle stands

Then take some pictures and we can then guide u from there

Hope that helps

Wow thank you this is an amazing response... OK I've just been out with my torch & had a second look at the compressor & i could not see any labels so not sure what make it is.
I'll be on it tomorrow & get right under there.
1. Do I have to remove the whole unit? (as its very rusty under there = worse than my 2004 L322)
2. I have AUTEL 808MK Diagnostic tool
3. Yes everything else appears to work on suspension lift & raised height get there & lower back to standard.
Just this bounce back to standard when trying to get to access mode... but if i hold the down switch or repeat press it it will eventually go down & stay down although it will protest on the way trying to raise repeatedly.

Can not see any name on it. So I think I might take it down now that I’m this far into it.
Got car up on my 2 poster 😅 tricky cause the lift arm is close to the compressor area but it’s up.
