Hi Guys,

Just when i thought i could class my RRC as reliable it started making noises!

The noise is definatley road speed related and sounds like a big bit of chassis has dropped off and is being dragged along the road :( Drives ok but is making a horrible sound. It sometimes is there sometimes not, changes pitch etc, its not a constant noise. Also, the brake pedal keeps changing travel. I.e press it once, it travels 6" or so then press it shortly after and its back to its normal 2" or so! Hope there related!

Here are my thoughts so far....
1. Low brake pads. Been around and looked and they look OK and the discs feel smooth still (i.e pads havent worn down and are grinding into the metal)
2. This is the worrying bit, the rear axel propshaft has "wet mud" leaking back from the seal towards the diff? has something gone there?

What tests can i do to find out ?

Long time no speak guys. Any Noob bullying posts going on like chipsnegg around december lol?

EDIT....
Dont want to add but should also mention, its recently been parked on an embankment (passenger side pointing down) :'( - sounds expensive
