RR TD6 EGR valve

Hello all, could anyone tell me if this is the same EGR valve I need for my 2003 L322 TD6? going on it's the same engine my guess is yes but just thought I'd ask. Also, is it worth changing or am i best off putting in a bypass.

No idea, but why would you want to replace it? I don't know if there is feedback to the ECU, but if not, just pulling off the vacuum pipe will disable the EGR. If there is feedback, you will get a fault logged.

I had a fault come up on a diagnostic scanner and it's the EGR valve

You can remove EGR valve on the TD6, you will get no faults on dash, Engine deffinitely runs better and sweeter and Nowt to go wrong with it! Win win!

Yes that's all you need. Give the bolts a good soak in WD before removing them from inlet manifold.

I removed my EGR today off my RR Vogue TD6 2003, and replaced it with a blanking kit.

You can just pull the vacuum pipe off and plug the rubber pipe but you don't know if the valve is stuck open.

My old valve was absolutely rotten. 38k miles. Now I only have clean air going in to engine.

Drove the car and noticeably different. Quicker response when pulling away, black ****e out the back nearly gone and the car sounds more 'throaty'. Will check the MPG over the next few weeks and report back.
