RR P38 DSE auto engine cut out

Hiya normaly on the disc side off this site!!!
But I brought a p38 on a 1996 plate 22" wheels and all the other bits and bobs!!
But i have some trouble with it,on the motorway if u deaccelorate (think that right?) quickly every now and then the engine cut right out and the injector light pop up and glows,some time its cames to life and other time not,if u restart it it fine again,
it has been chiped with a blue box under the bonett,and i am looking in to taking it out to see if it stops it?or has others had this troble before?

hi mate,dont take the chip out,i got the same problem,and mine aint chipped,if i touch the clutch pedal it kicks in again,wondering if there is a switch on the pedal thats faulty.

I would disagree - take the chip out and see if the problem dissapears.

Importantly, what connections does the chip have??

I drowned my old chip when fording a river and it caused symptoms of irractic idle and was almost impossible to drive.

Remove it and see what happens.

Hiya thanks for the reply,some poeple has wrote on the forum before and it's looking will the injector pump,all I can guess is it's the wire throtell housing on the top of the pump? That plays up
