RR P38 Auto Box problem

Hi everyone, back again. Anyone in the Brentwood/Essex surrounding area with a laptop/fault reader suitable for a RR P38? Got no gears, done some research, fluids all good, XYZ switch intact, all connections/feedlines good but I can't get a single gear HR or LR. Grinds when I go to put it in Park.
1996 4.6 Petrol w/autobox. Any ideas?
I have read/heard that power outages/battery swaps can knock out comms between the BECM and the ECU but I don't know how legit this is. Feedback welcomed...

Coms between the BECM is not normally a problem on the P38. Try selecting 1st gear and see if it moves, otherwise you need Bemble James Martin.
