rr p 38 lecy seats

hi all ok so i have bought a t reg dhse 54 though miles nice condition, now it has lecy seats but no memory function. what i want to know how nig a job is it to install memory function?? you know for mirrors seats etc.it seems silly to be lecy ones but not memory ones. as a side issuie the seats i am prety sure are the same as my old rover 827 coupe switches are the same anyhows

I wouldn't bother, memory seat functions are controlled by the BECM (large ECU under drivers seat) and would be a massive job to retro fit as the wiring harness is different and so is the BECM.

second hand BECM's will not work on your car as yours is programmed to your car, and your car only, for security reasons they cannot be interchanged.

BECM controlls all electrical functions on the car including immobilisation
