RR l322 stereo nav screen problem

Where to start right,
After recently purchasing my RR l322 it had some crap after market double din head unit which stopped me using stereo controls on steering wheel, clock setting etc etc so I purchased the nav screen for it and plugged it back in but I have no radio, nav cd etc it turns on ok and gives me some settings (can be seen in a pic below)but not the full thing, all units in the left cubby hole in the boot are connected ok (can be seen in a pic below) could it be the stereo ECU in the boot? just not sure what the problem is? Any help suggestions would be great

It's a job to know from just looking at two pictures, and I don't own a Rangie, but the first things I would be checking is that none of the existing wiring was bastardised in order to install the previous aftermarket unit.

all wiring is ok I'm thinking maybe something like the stereo ecu that's in the boot possibly but I didn't want to go out buying random bits as they are very expensive, just hoping someone on here has experienced the same or similar problem

Beyond what I've said, I can't help. Maybe you should ask in the Range Rover section.
