RR Classic - Leaking - Wet Footwells

Dear All,

Please help!! My 1994 RR Classic has developed a leak with the recent down pours. Both NS & OS front footwells soaked i have checked the following:

1) Windscreen has been resealed
2) Sunroof drains blown through with comp air - all clear and no evidence of headlining damp or staining.
3) Engine water levels ok - no loss in header tank to suggest a heater matrix prob.
4) Checked all inner wings / seals etc - perfect.

Just cannot understand where it can be coming in from to soak both wells - any suggestions welcome.

I did cure the leak on mine actually,me and a freind (its a two man job) took the bonnet off and then the panel below the screen.cleaned out all the drain channels and took all the grommets that are under there out and re-fitted them with a load of black sealer,there are two plates bolted to the bulkhead each side of the heaterbox intake,i took them off and re-sealed them as well.then if you look on each end of the scuttle panel you will see the sunroof drain tubes,the n/s one is just above the grommet where the rear washer tube go's into the car:confused: so i re-positioned the drain tubes.I'm not sure exactly where the leak was on mine but the main thing is its cured.(the bonnet hinges are sprung loaded and very strong)
 
Normally it is the plastic membrane on the inside of the door that is no longer stuck down. The water runs down the glass and inside the car, and comes out at the bottom of the door panel.

You never notice this because the door is shut. Open your door after it has rained and see if there is water in the rubber door seal channel.
 
Also while you've got the door panels off, run a hose against the glass and check where the water's running when it gets to the door speakers. Where they're set into the membrane on mine, the plastic membrane was chanelling water down the panel and straight into the footwell.
 
Good point on the door membrane,i'd replaced mine when i first got the car as i had the panels off looking at the central locking.
 
I've just had the same problem. Mine was caused by corrosion of the inner wing where it meets the A-post and floor. Both sides had gone in exactly the same place. I took both fron wings off, cut out the rot and welded patches in place. Now I've got perfectly dry feet
