Hey,

I got a '01 Range Rover HSE 4.6. The rear wiper had gotten stuck before but with a strong wash and dw40 it loosened up and started to work... apparently it had been just sand build-up. Given that i live in Bahrain, that was simple...

A few months later the same problem again, but same remedy is not working... I would like to try everything before I have to take to the dealer whose costs are probably highest in the world and would take the truck in for 3-4 days minimum to fix. I can't seem to find in the handbook which fuse is responsible for the rear wiper!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance guys/gals.

BTW, read a remedy for a p38... forgive me for asking, but what's a p38?

Rear wiper motor failure is common. Mine does the same regularly.

Either buy a new motor and fit it yourself, or remove the existing motor and dismantle, clean, regrease and put it back on. Might work! Yet to get round
to doing that to my own motor, but will be trying it soon.

P38 (or more accuratly P38A) is the Land Rover code name for the model of Range Rover you are driving (Mark 2 - 1995 to 2002)

Matt.
