Rover p6 v8 engine into a disco 300tdi

i am not sure about the p6 V8 but did have an uncle years ago with an SD1 rover V8 and tried to replace his knackerd V8 for a range rover V8 and had probs with the engine mounts as the engine mount holes on the engine was in a different place to the SD1 engine mount holes.

he bought the rr engine as a rover V8 engine and thought it would go strait in but think my dad made him some mounts to suit the rr engine but that was about 20 odd years ago.

now when i was into rover p6 V8s i used a firm in leicester called rovertech they did all sorts of convertions with the rover V8 engine and wernt frightend of telling you how they did it so mite be worth giving them a bell unfortunatly i don't have there number anymore hope this helps.
