Rover 75 bmw engine to Freelander 1 td4

Hi are any of the engine components such as injectors High pressure diesel pump,starter motor e.t.c e.t.c. usable on a freelander 1 td4 as I know where there is a scrap rover 75 with a sweet engine !! thanks in advance !

In theory lots of bits can be used, same basic engine but some times items that will fit may have slight differences, e.g the injectors on the 75 generally have a different part number but some do use the same injectors.

Cheers mate it was the injectors I was interested in more than anything !

I have tried injectors with a different part number from a 75, I think the majority end with 030 and the Freelander uses a number ending 049 (off the top of my head!) and the engine ran but I felt it lost a small amount of power. Maybe the could be reconfigured for the particular engine if you had a testbook etc. check your part number you may be lucky
