HI Drove though a flooded road, only an inch or so deep but it did splash up over the bonnet a couple of times. Now its running lumpy like maybe running on 4???
Only had it a couple of months and drove it like my old defender, obviosly you can't do that. Any ideas please.:(

If you have a nanocom or know someone that does, hook it up to see if it's throwing any codes.

Outside of that:
Pull and clean the intake sensors (AAP on intake manifold; MAF between air box and turbo; MAP connected to the air box lid). Can be cleaned with electrical cleaner or brake clean.

Check the air filter.

Pull the red connection to the ECU (under off-side seat), check for oil and clean (elec cleaner or brake clean).

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks jabber,
Checked air filter last night,,it was dry and clean. Will check the rest late.
Half way home stopped at a 4 by 4 garage who where no help! Just offered to sale me another one. but when restarted the disco it ran almost perfectly, now just a little uneven. Hope it continues in the morning, expecting snow.:)

no more than a week ago I had something a bit similar and it was a very progressive shut down. First my Defender TD5 started to cough and then i had the feeling that I was running on 4 cylinder then 3 then 2 and then the whole thing stopped in the middle of a traffic light as usual. Beleive it or not, 100 meter from the land Rover agent workshop and right in front the car of the chairman of the group who owns Land Rover in Suriname. the guys from the workshop came and found that I had no fuel pressure. the wiring under the vehicle was corroded at a connection due to regular water splash and the fuel pump went on and off non stop until the connection was gone.
I looked everywhere but was not able to find the issue by myself.
good luck with yours
