Hi Everyone!

A few months back i got myself a freelander td4 and i love everything about it except for this engine problem im having. As i said the idel is running a little rough. Sounds like its misfiring. Ive read abput this issue on several forums and many mention a corroded multiplug which i cannot find nomatter how deep i drown myself in the engine room. Any tips/pictures would be much appreciated! (excuse my english, im from Sweden)

Hi, not exactly the same, but our problems may have a similar root cause. The problem I have is that the engine starts fine 90% of the time, sometimes turns over a while before firing, & after around half an hour or 10 miles ish on my way to & from work, she starts to splutter, has intermittent power dips and sometimes stalls when I dump the clutch at a junction or in traffic, it normally starts straight away again although sometimes takes a little starting. It seems to be temperature related although I've just had it running on the drive with a few revs to get it up to temperature & it won't stall......although the idle was a little lumpy when at temperature. Hopefully someone could guide us both in the right direction....Cheers Oh, mines a Td4 also.
