What is the best way to insure a rooftent?

Try adding it to youre house insurance less you can get a specialist one. Some car insurances include a certain amount for contents check to see if it's the right amount

I bought mine from Nene Overland, very good. Got the tent added to my car insurance so that it's all on the one policy, thats with NFU. Talk to your provider as they may be happy to simply up the total value of your vehicle to cover the tent, or to have it covered as a seperate item on the schedule...

im with NFU too. they were the only people who would insure me cos i was only 17 rip off. but i get it off my mums insurance. still daylight robbery.

As a matter of interest, what is the prices for Howling Moon rooftents in the UK? For more information on them also have a look at www.howlingmoon.co.za. I've been using one of them for the past 4 years all over Southern Africa and I am very happy with it.
