roof spot lights

hi

was just looking at light bars LAND ROVER FREELANDER 5 DOOR SPOT LAMP ROOF LIGHT BAR on eBay (end time 19-Aug-10 09:38:49 BST)

and wonder what is the best way to run wiring
and what is needed. Any pics would be great.

Hi, i got the brown church roof rack on mine which i've put 4 spot lights along the front of. The wiring i have drilled a hole (well, 2) in the roof and bought it round under the head lining then up through a water tight gromit. looks tidy and doesn't leek, only down side is i got holes in the roof now. Not to put you off and may well be different on a roof bar but i get alot of 'glare' of mine onto the windscreen so don't really use them while driving, handy for camping and putting tent up in dark though. i think they look cool too . pics attached;

not great for seeing the spot lights but gives u an idea. the holes are where the roof rack fastens to car, u can just see the wire coming down of drivers side.
