roof lights causing glare

fitted a roof bar with 4 lights to my discovery 200 tdi thinking i'd be able to see more in the dark but the glare off the bonnet is too much, no matter where i point the lights

has any one had this problem and would some matt black chequer plate help???:confused2:

when i had my lights up there i made some strips of metal around 3" long and put then under the lights it deflected the light a bit and did help

did you just screw on the bottom of the lamps???

no i used the mounting bolts so you would have to measure from them and plus whatever from the front of the lens

Common problem, paint the centre bonnet section matt black.
