just wanted to know what people think about painting the roof of your landy black. Seen a few recently and it looks pretty smart esp if your landy is white or silver but I cant help thinking that when the sun's out it must get pretty hot and uncomfortable

That's the main reason why Ford and most of the Transits coming out of the factory gave rise to "White van man".
Believe it or not, they actually did the research on the temperatures.
