Roof bar parts Freelander 3 door

I just bought some roof bars on ebay for my 3 door freelander... I can see that one of the shrouds for the roof fixings is missing - also there are only two rubber gasket thingies for the front.

Can anyone tell me

a) Should there be rubber gasket thingies for the back fixings
b) Can I order the missing shroud from a dealer (or has anyone got one going spare I can buy?

so it was you that paid all that for them lol
yes should be rubber gaskets on all contact points and main dealer should have them but not sure of cost.
 
but rubber gaskets is easily made up out of say an old inner tube (or a newun if you haven't got an old one). Wouldn't do it for a critical gasket, say where it's use for sealing a pump housing, but in this case it is only there to stop vibration and rubbing between the bars and the body work.

as for the shroud, don't know what to suggest
 
I paid 31 quid for them - thought that was a pretty good deal! considering all the others Ive watched have gone for over a ton?

Thanks for advice - I will let you know how I get on with getting the spares
 
Tip Earthling. . . . .when fitting them ,apply clear good quality silicone or Storm [Storm is best] to the rubbers. . . . . :)

UM. . . . .Give me sum time un i will find it fer yer. . . . . . .us aneracks have bin using it fer years :)
 
I offered the bars up against the vehicle today and think I might be missing some brackets too.

Can anyone let me know what the component parts are? Are there brackets for roof and back that the bars bolt on to?
