Bought on a whim, I do stuff like that, locally back in Feb 2019. 4 previous owners, 145k with a really good service history and almost fault free at that point and for a few weeks afterwards. Meet Ronnie. My L322 TD6 HSE. He's very quickly become my daily and there's nothing he or I won't tackle. He's not been totally reliable and has needed a few repairs along the way, but he's never left me stranded and is regarded much like that favourite dog which misbehaves sometimes but is otherwise a faithful friend whom you wouldn't be without.
He wasn't expensive to buy at 15 years old and the AA breakdown insurance cover has taken care of the unexpected repair bills. That really was a good bit of business taking that cover and something I highly recommend! Cheers all, what a great place this is. Real enthusiasts helping others keep their Land Rovers roving.
