Hello all, I am trying to sell my 1998 Range Rover DSE 2.5 BMW Engine WITH FULL SPRING CONVERSION (a.k.a Rocky the Range Rover as my 3 year old calls him)THIS CAR IS A NON RUNNER
The car has 137,907 miles on the clock, which are documented.
MOT'd till 13th April 2012
Taxed till 30/4/12
2 years ago I had the car converted to springs to avoid the dreaded air suspension problem. This work was all carried out by RK Automotive in Tamworth who are specialist in Landy's/ Disco's etc.
I have owned the car for nearly 3 years now, and it has been a real work horse.
Last December we took the car to Brugge and back through the snow and it never battered an eye lid costing us only £150 in fuel.
It is the 1998, hence the lower tax bracket. £118.25 for 6 months. Costs me £400 per year insurance fully comp.
Full sports kit including front bumper,colour coded in Blue, Sport Alloys 19", side grills, step plates,tow bar, CD player, Full cream leather with Blue piping.
The car will turn over but not start, hence for sale as a non runner. This needs someone who knows what they are doing. I have been told its to do with some water damage on the electrical board that sits under the drivers seat. The garage cannot get a read on the ECU with their diagnostics kit because of this damage.
Someone who wants this car will either know how to do this and get a very cheap car, or want it for spares... I dont know. Reason for the sale is we have just had a company car delivered and my other half will not let me spend any money on getting it repaired. :-( I have tried to be as honest as I can.
