road tax

hi new on here has anyone seen the tax hike on discos' registered after April 1st 2001, gutted me.

Mine is £295, pre 1st march 2001 it is £235.

well maybe I'm wrong but my disco registered on 4 April 2001 will se an increase up to 550 quid that's an obscene amount.

I think you are a l'ill mistaken there @nizbang. My 53 plate Td5 is only £295. The figure you are talkking about is for post 2006.

Apologies, my bad!

mines a td5 but thinks its a v8 tho but its far from it, leaks power steering oil,ace fluid, gearbox oil but it must be the only disco on the planet that doesn't rain in its flippin amazing honestly

Hi Nizbang,

TD5, is a five cylinder diesel...Not a V8...............LOL

Be careful of the fluid level in the powersteering and ACE, you do not want to have them run dry.

might sound more like a td5 if put my new down pipe on lol that's why it thnks its a v8 just not as smooth tho, as the fluids I'm on it got new steering pump and a new ram for the ace system and that ace fluid is a small fortune. This car was bought as a do er upper and I'm not that far off now
